03/18/1976 - Amber N. PLETCHER, 83, of Gales Ferry, Conn, 
formerly of How ard, died Saturday, March 6. She was born in 
Curtin, June 23, 1892 d/o W illiam T and Mary SHOPE NEFF. 
Her husband, Lewis R. PLETCHER, preceded h er in death. 
Survivors: children Robert J of Hazelcrest, Ill; Alvin Tex; 
and Mrs. Sylvia SAFFER of Gales Ferry, Conn; 14 grch., 8 
grgrch, brother and two sisters. Raised two grandchildren 
George and Nadine WHITECRAFT after their mother died in 
1950.
