Mrs Bessie  (Estep) Pletcher
 - 12/01/1943

12/23/1943 - Mrs. Joseph G. PLETCHER - Mrs. Bessie PLETCHER, 
wife of Jose ph G. PLETCHER, of Bellwood, died Dec 1, 1943, 
at Brougeville, PA while v isiting the home of a stepson, 
Joseph PLETCHER. Death was attributed to a crebral 
hemorrhage. She was born March 29, 1875, at Alexandria, 
Huntin gdon county, d/o George and Mary (McCOMBS) ESTEP. 
Mrs. PLETCHER was prev iously married to John H. McGLINSEY 
who died in 1931. Six children of th at union survive, two 
brothers, a sister and a half-brother. Mrs. PLETCH ER 
married Joseph G. PLETCHER in 1935 and he survives with the 
following step-children:  Mrs. Elvira KENNEDY of Bellwood; 
Mrs. H. T. HARVEY, of Mi llvale; Mrs. Job BOWERS of Altoona; 
Grant C. PLETCHER of Crete, Ill., and Joseph D. PLETCHER at 
whose home she died. Also five grandchildren, two of them 
being in the service in the South Pacific. Member of 
Bellwood M ethodist Church.
