01/23/1981 - Flora M. PLETCHER, 93, of Tampa, Fla died 
Wednesday. She wa s born on Sep 15, 1887 in Howard, d/o 
Christian and Silence TAYLOR PLETCH ER. Surviving are a 
sister, Edythe ELLIOTT of Merritt Island, FL, four n ieces 
and six nephews. She taught school in Howard Borough and in 
Claren ce. She also is a grad of Lock Haven Normal School, 
the Course Irvin Hos pital for Nurses in Syracuse, NY, the 
University of Pennsylvania anesthes ia course in 
Philadelphia and the Sister Kenney Treatment Center in Phila 
delphia. Member of the Howard United Methodist Church and 
the Howard W.C .T.U.
