DANIEL C. RHODES 

  Daniel C. Rhodes, age 75, of Rhodes Farm Lane, Warriors Mark 
(Gatesburg), died April 27, 2006 at Fairways, Brookline, State College.
  He was born May 13, 1930 in Saxton, the son of Delilah (Moore) Rhodes 
and Milton G. Rhodes.
  On May 16, 1949 in Winchester, Va. he married Grace E. Sollenberger.
  He is survived by his wife; one son, Daniel E. and wife Maria of 
Gatesburg; four grandchildren: Robert Stocks, Matthew Rhodes, Adam 
Rhodes and Patricia Higgins; three great-grandchildren: William, Taryn 
and Laura and three sisters: Martha Wingate of Huntingdon, Doris Hawn 
of Bellefonte and Jean Kurcaba of Morgantown, West Virginia.
  He was preceded in death by one daughter, Susan; three brothers and 
four sisters.
  Mr. Rhodes was a life-long dairy farmer.
  Funeral services will be May 1, 2006 at 11 a.m. at the Gatesburg 
Lutheran Church with Vicar Joseph Schultz and Rev. Sharon Ludrowsky 
officiating.
  Place of Burial is the Gatesburg Lutheran Cemetery.
  There will be no public visitation.
  Arrangements are by the Bruce E. Cox Funeral Home, Warriors Mark.
