Robb, principal of the Altoona High school, died yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the home of her son, Jacob S. Robb at Howard, Centre county, death being due to the general decline of old age. Mrs. Robb was born in Germany on May 22, 1820, coming to the United States early in life. She was united in marriage with Peter Robb, sr., and resided in Centre county for the past sixty-five years, the husband preceding her in death seven years ago. Since the death of her husband, Mrs. Robb had made her home with her oldest son, Jacob S. Robb, at Howard. Three other sons survive, Peter Robb, jr., of Lock Haven; Rev. Lewis Robb, D.D., of Frederick, Md., and Dr. George D. Robb, principal of the Altoona High school. Mrs. Robb was a lifelong member of the Reformed church and was a devoted Christian woman of many graces. The funeral will be conducted at the home of her son at Howard on Tuesday morning at 10:30 o'clock with services in charge of Rev. Richard F. Gass. Interment in the Reformed cemetery at Howard. In the 1900 Howard, Centre County census, she is listed as Mary A. Robb, and in the 1870 Curtin Township, Centre County census, as Mary Robb.
