Mr. Rodgers had been to Pittsburg looking up some business interests, and on his way home stopped in this city to visit his daughter. Before retiring last night he complained of a pain in his breast. This morning he was found dead. Coroner Poet was notified and went to the house, but as Dr. Frazee, of Juniata, pronounced the cause of death neuralgia of the heart and there was every reason to believe such to be the case, an inquest was deemed unnecessary. Undertaker Lafferty will prepare the remains for burial, after which they will be sent to Bellefonte. Deceased was of quite an inventive turn, and was the holder of several patents and was at the time of his death at work on an invention for heating cars. He was 57 years of age and leaves a wife and four children. The remains will be taken to Bellefonte on mail east tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock, where interment will be made.
