WILLIAM EMANUEL THOMAS 
 
  William Emanuel Thomas, Port Matilda, died at 4:15 p.m. Friday at the 
Philipsburg State Hospital where he had been a patient for three weeks.
  He was born at Worth Twp. July 30, 1910, the son of John A. and Susan 
Seyler Thomas. His father died in October of 1954.  
  He is survived by the mother, a sister, Mrs. Verna Wiser, Port 
Matilda; and a brother, Howard Thomas, Port Matilda; a son, John R. 
Thomas, Delcamp, Md., and a stepson, Donald Wyand, Lock Haven RD, and 
six grandchildren.
  Friends will be received at the Bennett Funeral home, Port Matilda, 
after 7 p.m. today and until time of service.  Service will be held 
Monday at 2:30 from the funeral home. The Rev. Henry Kulp will 
officiate. Burial will be in the Presbyterian Cemetery, Port Matilda.
