Cann Wagner, 92, of Port Matilda, died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2004 at Centre Crest Nursing Home, Bellefonte. She was born May 22, 1912 in Scotia, a daughter of William and Maude (Colyer) Bailey. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, John C. Cann and Melvin Wagner. Surviving is a daughter Patricia Stimer and husband Dennis of Port Matilda, a son Thomas K. Cann of Port Matilda, four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, a great-great granddaughter and two sisters, Albertine Moore and Jackie Johnson both of State College. She was preceded in death by three brothers. Mrs. Wagner retired in 1976 from the food service department at Penn State University, Simmons Dining Hall, following 10 years service. She was a member of the Port Matilda United Methodist Church. Friends will be received on Sunday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Feller Memorial Home. Funeral services will be private. Interment at Port Matilda Presbyterian Cemetery. Memorial gifts may be made to the Centre Crest Nursing Home, 502 E. Howard Ave., Bellefonte, Pa. 16823. Tyrone Daily Herald, December 23, 2004
