Douglas Arthur Walk Sr. (Bill), 61, died April 19, 2006 at his home in Halethorpe, Maryland. He was born October 12, 1944 in Philipsburg, the son of the late Charles Walk and Yolanda (Leasure) and John Anders. Douglas is survived by his wife Karen of 40 years. He has one son, Douglas Arthur Walk Jr. of Lansdowne, Md. and one daughter, Victoria Lynn McCourry of Halethorpe, Md. Also, five grandchildren: Nathan, Destiny and Dakota Walk and Maude and Marlaina McCourry. Two brothers: Ronald Walk of Mt. Airy, Md. and John Anders of Warriors Mark and two sisters: Jean Geraci of South Bend, In. and Lucille Anders of Rieligh, N.C. Douglas worked in the motion picture industry in and around Md. He worked on many well-known movies and TV series. "Homicide", the series and movie; "Ladder 49", "Ransom" and "He Said, She Said", just to name a few. Douglas loved to travel and did so every chance he got. His favorite place to go was Cancun, Mexico and he traveled there quite a lot. Friends will be received from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Ambrose Funeral Home in Arbutus, Md. Services at Holy Nativity Lutheran Church, 1200 Linden Ave. in Arbutus. Friends will be received at the First English Lutheran Church in Tyrone from 1 to 2 p.m. on Monday, April 24, 2006. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park, Antis Township.
