Waple Stroke of Paralysis Sustained on Saturday Proves Fatal Thomas L. Waple, a well known resident of North Philipsburg stricken with paralysis on Saturday morning last, died at his home in that place Wednesday morning at 7 o'clock, his condition from the very first having been of a very serious character. The deceased, who was aged about 73 years, was born in Maryland, but the greater part of his life has been spent in this vicinity, and, a goodly number of years in Philipsburg. He was a remarkably active man, following gardening in late years, at which he was very successful, and his death was very unexpected to his many friends. Besides his wife, he leaves two sons, and one daughter; Charles M., of Tyrone; William K., of Washington, D. C.; and Mrs. Amos Owens; survive: James T., Clearfield; Jared, near Wallaceton; John W., Washington, D. C.; Charles, of Salem, and Mrs. Annie McAlarney, living near Ginter. The funeral took place on Saturday, afternoon, at 2 o'clock. Tyrone Herald, Tyrone, Pa., October 6, 1910
