Weaver, known familiarly as "Mosie" Weaver, died at his home at Vail last Thursday morning at 1:50 o'clock. Mr. Weaver had been in falling health for several months with diseases incident to old age. Moses Thompson Weaver was born August 19, 1853, and fifty-nine years ago was united in marriage with Miss Sarah McKinley, who survives. For a number of years Mr. Weaver worked as a puddle in the iron mills in Mifflin county and later went to Port Matilda where he was employed in the manufacture of brick, moving to Vail station twelve years ago. Surviving are the widow and these sons and daughters: W.P. Weaver, Willard, Ohio; Emory Ellsworth Weaver, of New Castle; Mrs. Marilla Mays, Mrs. Mary Stoner of Tarrs, near Greensburg, and Mrs. Susan McVey, Hollidaysburg. Thirty-six grandchildren also survive. Mr. Weaver was of the Methodist faith. The funeral services were held at the home of daughter-in-law, Mrs. Charles Weaver, at Vail, on Saturday afternoon.
