Nittany Medical Center. She was born April 26, 1936 at Port Matilda a daughter of Gerald K. and Lois M. (Turner) Williams. She was married April 26, 1954 at Winchester, Va. to Paul Woodring, Jr. who died February 24, 2002. She is survived by three sons and two daughters: Rick Woodring (Sandy Trexler) of Port Matilda, Terry Woodring (Marcy) of Port Matilda, James Woodring (Gwendolyn) of Port Matilda, Tracy Williams (Ken) of Fleming and Tammy Confer (Kirk) of Mill Hall; 10 grandchildren and four great- grandchildren. Also, a brother Kenneth Williams of Wingate and sisters Barbara Homan of State College, Judy Wiser of Virginia and Sharon Royer of Pennsylvania Furnace. She was a member of the Port Matilda United Methodist Church and enjoyed camping, cooking and knitting. She retired as a cook at the Kappa Sigma Fraternity in State College, was a Head-Start teacher and worked as a cook in various restaurants in the area. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at 11 a.m. at the Derman Funeral Home, Inc., Tyrone, with Rev. Patricia Gable officiating. Interment will be at Presbyterian Cemetery, Port Matilda. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m. Tyrone Daily Herald, Tyrone, Pa., September 17, 2007
