She was born May 6, 1870, at Crossroads, the daughter of William and Catherine Merryman Crain. She was the wife of Peter B. Woodring who died July 27, 1956. She is survived by three daughters: Miss Elizabeth Woodring, Flushing, L.I., N.Y.; Mrs. Thelma Williams, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; and Mrs. Jessie Lykens, Port Matilda; two sons, Gilbert, Port Matilda; and Mahlon, Lewiston, N.Y.; two Sisters, Mrs. Ethel Funk, Port Matilda; and Mrs. Minnie Woodring, Englewood, N.J.; and two brothers, Charles and John, both of Port Matilda; also 10 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral service was in charge of the Rev. C. Mitchell Hammond and the Rev. Gordon Arch Williams. Burial was in the Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Port Matilda.
