This small old family cemetery is located on Highway 82 about a block south of Highway 322 and about a block west of Brandywine Manor Presbyterian Church in Chester County, Pa. Inquire at this church or a neighbor, as it is difficult to find and not visible, although very close, to Highway 82. This cemetery has had some restoration by the Irwin Reunion Association, who have put a wall around it, a name plate at the gate and a memorial headstone in center of yard in memory of the unmarked ones buried there. Also, there are several broken up markers piled in the corner. It was impossible to obtain information from these. There are 19 headstones standing, one of which is a tall one with inscriptions on each side. Records copied 2 June 1962 by Ruth M Enyeart. 1. Mrs. Laverty 2. Clark. This transcription of that original document is an effort to make the font clearer to read after years and years of photocopying a manually typed original.
