The North Philadelphia Baptist Association, July 8, 1883, held a meeting for the disbandment of the West Caln Baptist Church and appointed the Coatesville Baptist Church to hold and take charge of the West Caln property. On August 5, the church was formally disbanded as letters of dismission were voted to all fifteen members. Eleven of the members united with the Coatesville Baptist Church.
