I Joseph Franklin Ingram of 1624 N. Bodine Street, Philadelphia, PA. being duly sworn according to law, depose and say that I was born February 22, 1866. I am a son of Joseph Lewis Ingram who married Elisa Amanda V. King on July 31, 1865 by Rev. Anthony Atwood at the St. John's M.E. Church, Phila. Pa. My father Jos. L. Ingram was born in St. Louis, MO. Joseph L. & Elisa A.V. Ingram had the following children, viz; Joseph Franklin the above named desponent, Harry E., Walter L., William H., Laura A. (Mrs. Turbo?), Emma, Edwin E. and Harry Lewis. Joseph Lewis Ingram was a son of Amer C. Ingram who married Sophie M. Butcher on ....1846. Amer C. Ingram was born ...1822 and resided at Philadelphia, PA. He died Dec. 9, 1885 and is buried at Mr. Vernon Cemetery at Philadelphia, PA. His wife Sophia M. died Jan. 28, 1899. Amer C. & Sophie M. Ingram had the foll- owing children, viz; Joseph L., Mary E., Annie L., William H., A.Frank, Ella V., John B., Samuel R., Chas.O., and Mabel S. Amer C. Ingram was a son of Emmor Ingram who married Jane Ann Gray on.... Emmor Ingram was born Dec.31, 1801 and resided in West Whiteland Twp., Chester County, Penna. He died Sept. 24, 1826. Emmor and Jane Ingram had only one son Amer C. Ingram. Emmor Ingram was a son of John Ingram who married Mary Hawley on Jan.15, 1790. John Ingram was born June 12, 1750 and resided at Skelp Level, East Bradford Twp., Chester Co. Penna. He died ...1825. His wife Mary was born Sept.12, 1767 and died Dec. 24, 1843 and both are buried at Marshallton, PA. John and Mary Ingram had the following children, viz; Susanne, Hannah, Tamar, Joseph, Anne Starr, Benjamin, Rebecca, Mary, Emmor, John, Thomas, Eli, Elisha & Rachel. John Ingram was a son of William Ingram who married Mary Hannah Eachus about 1755. William Ingram was born ...1732 and resided in West Whiteland Twp., Chester County, PA. He died March 24, 1815 and his wife Mary H. died April 18, 1801. William & Mary H. Ingram had the following children, viz; John, Robert, Thomas, Elisha, Abigail, Eleazer, Samuel, Joseph and Latham. William Ingram was a son of John Ingram who married Susanna Latham. John Ingram was born April 6, 1693 at Yorkshire, England and he was a son of Arthur Ingram. John came to Pennsylvania about 1715 and settled first at Concord and later in West Whiteland Twp., Chester County, PA. He died at the residence of his son Wm. in 1784. John and Susanna Ingram had the following children, viz; John, William, Latham, Mary, Elizabeth, Robt. and Peter. For records of William, John and Arthur Ingram see Bible in possession of Miss Mary Ingram of 3223 Summer Street, Philadelphia, PA. I Joseph Franklin Ingram married Elizabeth P. Lesher on Jan. 14, 1888 by Rev. Jno. B. Gough Pidge at the Church 5th and Brown St. Phila. PA. We have the following children, viz...Joseph L., Jeanette A., Sarah E., Florence, Ida A. Emma M.
