As a young woman, probably 1910, and in 1930. In 1930 she ran the bus station on 2nd avenue in Coatesville for her husband, Harry. It was the WAWA of its time, since she sold bus tickets, candy, ice cream, and cigarettes. Mary was the daughter of Davis David Gray and Sarah Eli (Collins) Gray.She was born 3 Jan, 1890 in Hockessin, DE. She died 7 April, 1974 at age 84. She married Harry Franklin Walker in 1910. She was a resident of Chester County for most of her 84 years. She helped her husband run his business, Brandywine Transit Company, for many years.
