The house was built in 1727 by Joseph and later in 1752 inherited by son Henry. After Henry's death, his widow, Hannah Hunt Collins, married Nathaniel Moore in 1753. Nathaniel then bought the home from Henry and Hannah's three daughters [ Mary, Ann and Charity, ages ca.7, 5 and 3] Nathaniel added a kitchen and remodeled the loft into bedrooms. It now stands at 633 Goshen Road, West Chester PA. This structure was donated to the Chester Co Historical Society in 1947. It is now protected by the historical society and cannot be changed in any way. It was owned by Pierce Hoopes in 1995. [West Chester News, 1/15/1879]
