The SW section of Goshen was mostly settled by Welshmen.  The land was sold
by John ap Thomas, of Llaithgwm, Commott of Pennllyn, in the county of
Merioneth.   The following is a list of "every Friend in Penllyn" *( Wales)
that " hath layd out to buy land in Pensilvania"...this was ca 1706.  John
