We encourage links to the state and county table of contents. ____________________________________________________________ This indenture made the tenth day of June in the year of our lord, one thousand seven hundred and twenty one, and in the seventh year of the reign of our sovereign lord George, by the grace of God, of great Britian, king defendor of the faith, between Sarah Green of Burmingham in the county of Chester and province of Pennsylvania, widow, and Thomas Green and Mary his wife of Caln in the county of Chester of the one part, and Robt. Green of Burmingham afore said of the other part, whereas Samuel Carpenter, Richard Hill, Isaac Norris, James Logan, Commissioners of William Penn, Henry Gouloney &, others to whom the said William Penn has mortgaged this province by a certain grant or patent under the said commissioners hand, & great seal of this province bearing date the thirteenth day of January Ammo Dom 1712, for the consideration of fourty five pounds of __ currancy, therein mentioned, do grant and comfirm unto Joseph Cloud the Elder of Concord, & all the tract of one hundred and fifty acres herein after mentioned, and intended to be granted with Sd. appurtenance to hold to him the Sd. Joseph Cloud his heirs and assigns for ever, & whereas the said Joseph Cloud and Mary his wife for and in consideration of the summ of thirty five pound of lawfull money of america, to them in hand paid by the above said Sarah Green, do grant and release the afores grant. The said Sarah Green & her heirs for ever as by the apppease, may more fully appear paying therefor unto the said William Penn & his heirs one silver Shilling Sixpence yearly for ever as by the patent recorded in the Eotts office at Philadelphia in patent book vol 4 page 342 may more fully app... Now this indenture witnesseth that the Sd Sarah Green, Thomas Green her son, Mary his wife, as well for and in consideration of sixty pounds of lawfull money of America to them in hand paid by Sd Robt. Green, the receipt whereof they Do hereby acknowledge & thereof do acquit & forever discharge the Sd. Robert Green his heir and assigns by these presents, as for diverse other causes & considerations Y. m Sd Sarah Green & Thomas Green Mary his wife specially moving, hath granted, bargained, sold, aliened , __ & released & confirmed by there presents do grant bargain, sell alien, ____ confirm unto the Sd. Robert Green his heirs & assigns all Y. d said tract of land situate lying and being in the Sd. County of Chester beginning of a Black oak in circular line dividing between the Sd. County of Chester & the county of New Castle it being also a corner of Nathan Newlins land thence North four & twenty degrees West by the said Newlins land, two hundred fifty perches to a post, thence South Sixty six degrees West by the land of Henry Gunston, Thomas Co... , seventy perches to a Spanish oak thence south five degrees one hundred, & seventy five perches to a post in the Sd. circular line, thence by the same south eighty three degrees East, sixty seven perches South, eighty two degrees East, sixty seven perches South, eighty one degrees East, fourty five perches to the place of beginning, containing one hundred and fifty acres together with all buildings, woods, meadows, marshes, w... waters ,water courses, fishings, fowlings, hunting rights, members libertys, priviledges, appurtes, whatsoever to the law herby granted belonging or in any wise appurtaining of all which said premises & land hereby granted, or mentioned to be granted, to the Sd. Robt Green, his heirs & assigns forever, & the reversions & remainders, issues and profits thereof, & all deeds evidences & writings concerning the law, to have & to hold the said one hundred & fifty acres of land hereditamts, & premises hereby granted or mentioned to be granted & every part thereof, with the appurtes unto the Sd. Robert, his heirs and assigns, to the use of him the Sd Robt Green, his heirs and assigns, for ever under the Sd. yearly rent hereafter forming for the Sd. land & the Sd Sarah Green, Thomas Green, Mary his wife, them & every of them, & their heirs, the said land & premises hereby granted unto the Sd. Robt Green, his heirs & assigns, against them the said Sarah Green, Thomas Green, & Mary his wife, their heirs assigns, & against all other persons whatsoever lawfully claiming, or to claim by, from, or under them, or other shall and will warrant & for ever depend by these presents, & they the said Sarah Green & Thomas Green her son, & Mary his wife, for him their heirs executors & administors, & every of them, do promise & grant to, & with the Sd. Robt Green his heirs & assigns ,by these presents that the Sd. Sarah Green, Thomas Green ,& Mary his wife, their heirs & all & every of them, & all persons whatsoever, any having or lawfully claiming in the said granted premises, or any part thereof, by, from, or under them, or any of them, shall and will at any time & hereafter upon the reasonable request, cost, and charges in law, of the Sd Robt Green, his heirs & assigns, make do ___ acknowledged, suffer or cause to cobe, all & every such further, & other act of Weed devise,& devisos pourveyances & assurguces in law whatsoever ,for the further & better assuring, confirming, of the said one hundred and fifty acres of land hereditam, & premises hereby granted unto the Sd.
