Abraham Vernon of the said County Yeoman and Margaret his Wife one of the Daughters of the said Morris Mattson deceased. Aaron Mattson of the said County Yeoman another of the Sons of the said Morris Mattson deceased and Mary his Wife. John Patterson of the said County Yeoman and Elizabeth his wife another of the said deceaseds Daughters. John Mattson of the said County Yeoman another of the said deceaseds Sons and Sarah his Wife. William Rattew of the said County Yeoman and Mary his Wife another of the said deceaseds Daughters, Nehemiah Mattson and Enoch Mattson of the said County Yeoman two other of the deceaseds Sons and Rachel Mattson another of the said deceaseds daughters send Greeting. Know ye that the said Moses Mattson and Mary his Mary wife. Abraham Vernon & Margaret his wife, Aaron Mattson and Mary his wife, John Patterson and Elizabeth his wife, John Mattson and Sarah his wife, William Rattew and Mary his wife, Nehemiah Mattson, Enoch Mattson and Rachel Mattson, as well for and in Consideration of the Sum of Twenty Shillings lawful money of Pennsylvania unto them in hand will and truly paid by Levi Mattson of the County of Chester aforesaid Yeoman another of the Sons of the said Morris Mattson deceased at and before the Sealing & Delivery hereof the receipt whereof they do hereby Acknowledge and thereof do acquit, Exonerate, and forever discharge said Levi Mattson his Heirs and Assigns by these presents, as for diverse good Causes and Considerations them thereunto specially moving. Have given Granted, Remised, Released, and forever Luit-Claimed and Confirmed, and by these presents do Give Grant, Remise Release and forever Luit-Claim (?) and Confirm unto the said Levi Mattson and to his heirs and Assigns in his Actual Possession and herein? now being all their and each and every of their Estate and Estates Right, Title, Interest, Use, Possession, Property, Claim and Demand whatsoever both in Law and Equity or otherwise howsoever of into and out of all that Piece or Parcel of Land Situate lying and being in the Township of Aston in the County of Chester aforesaid. Bounded & Described as followeth, that is to -: Beginning at a wild Cherry Tree being a Corner dividing the Land of the said Nehemiah Mattson, thence south Thirty four degrees and an half West ? (margin) three perches thence the Several Courses of the Western Branch of Chester Creek, Eighty eight Perches to a Stone in the corner of Aaron Mattson's land, thence South ? (margin) fifty seven degrees, East Fifty four perches to a white Oak, thence continuing along said line of Aaron Mattson South Forty five degrees and an half. East Thirty four perches to a stone in the line late of Thomas Dutton, thence North ? (margin) Sixty four degrees East, Fifty five perches to a marked Hickory thence along the land of said Nehemiah Mattson, North Fifty four degrees West, Seventeen perches and eight tenths to a stake thence along the line of Enoch Mattson North Thirty four degrees and an half East, eight perches and eight tenths to a stake, thence along said line of Enoch Mattson, North Fifty four degrees West, Thirty Six perches to a stake, thence in said Line and Line of said Nehemiah, South Thirty four Degrees and an half West, Twenty one perches and eight tenths, to the place of Beginning, Containing twenty five acres (be the same more or less) Together with all and Singular the Houses, Buildings, Gardens, Orchards, Woods, Meadows, Marshes, Ways, Waters, Water Sources, Rights, Liberties, Privileges, Improvements, Hereditaments and Appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging to or in anywise appertaining. And the Reversions and Remainders, Rents Issues and Profits thereof. To have and to hold the said Described Piece or Parcel of land, Hereditaments and Remits? hereby Granted or mentioned to be Granted and every part thereof with the appurtenances, unto the said Levi Mattson his Heirs and Assigns to the only proper use, Benefit and behoof of the said Levi Mattson his heirs and assigns forever So that neither they the said Moses Mattson and Mary his wife, Abraham Vernon and Margaret his wife, Aaron Mattson and Mary his wife, John Patterson and Elizabeth his wife, John Mattson and Sarah his wife, William Rattew and Mary his wife, Nehemiah Mattson, Enoch Mattson, and Rachel Mattson, nor their Heirs, nor any other Person or Persons for them or any of them or in their or any of their name or names, Right or Stead, shall or may by any ways or Means hereafter, have, Claim, Challenge or Demand any Estate, Right or Interest of in or to the said Described Piece or Parcel of Land hereby Granted and Released, or of, in or to any part or Parcel thereof, but thereof and therefrom and of and from every part thereof, they and each and every of them, shall be utterly excluded and Barred forever by these Presents. In Witness whereof the said Moses Mattson and Mary his Wife, Abraham Vernon and Margaret his Wife, Aaron Mattson and Mary his Wife, John Patterson and Elizabeth his Wife, John Mattson and Sarah his Wife, William Rattew and Mary his Wife, Nehemiah Mattson, Enoch Mattson and Rachel Mattson have hereunto set their hands and Seals, Dated the Twentieth day of June in the Year of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred and Seventy six.
