D. C. Sept 18, 1897 Orig. No. 546.497 Benjamin K. Hutton Co. B., 97 Regt. Pa Inf. Benjamin K. Hutton, West Grove Chester Co. Pa. Musician Benjamin K. Hutton, private of Capt. James A Eicholtz company, (F,) 12 Regiment of Pennsylvania volunteers enrolled on the sixth day of August 1862 to serve nine months is hereby discharged from the service of the United States this Sixteenth day of May 1863, at Harrisburg, Pa. by reason of the expiration of his term of service. No objection to his being re-inlisted is known to exist. He is 20 years old b. in Chester County, Pa. five feet four inches high, dark compolexion, grey eyes, black hair, and by occupation when enrolled a farmer. Benjamin K. Hutton a Private of Captain B. H. Sweeney company, M, 1st Prov. Regiment of Penn Mounted volunteers was enrolled on the second day of February 1864 to serve three years. Discharged from the service of the United States this thirteenth day of July 1865 at Clouds Mill, Va. by reason of obedience S. O. No 44. He died Oct. 4th, 1918. His widow Rebecca Edwards Hutton received the pension of $30.00 until her death in 1930, Coatsville, Pa.
