Muster Roll
James Brown, Co. G, 18th Regt., 7th Cavalry, enrolled Nov. 3, 1861 at West 
Chester, Pa. and mustered in Nov. 4, 1861 as a Private at Harrisburg, Pa.  He was 
aged 32, a resident of Chester Co., Pa. and was a native of that place.  He died 
Mar. 29, 1862 at Mumfordsville, Kentucky; buried in National Cemetery, 
Louisville, Kentucky, section A., Range 14, Grave 5.

Additional Comments:
the unit was recruited in Chester, Dauphin and Lycoming Cos.
