The following list of the names of Chester Co officers and men in the 5th 
Regiment of the PA line, commanded by Col Robert Magaw, and captured at Ft 
Washington, 11-16-1776, is copied from a communication in the Evening Bulletin, 
of Philadelphia, of Sept 30, 1873; 
John Richardson, Lieut James Wilson and Samuel Shaw, Sergeants Timothy Moriarty 
and Arthur White, privates, of Chester John Rudolph, Lieut Thomas Fields, Sergt 
John Porter and Ezekiel Poplin Thomas Pendergrass (died in prison)
