Mrs. Hallman's maiden name was Howell, and Jackson, Esquire Howell's father, is...her only living brother. The late John M. Howell was another, and Ephraim who died years ago in Reading was a third, and he was married the same evening as was his sister, Mary, Mrs. Hallman. This family, Mr. and Mrs. Hallman, have lived here all the years intervening since their wedding day. Mr. Hallman at the age of 72 may be daily seen going to his work in the mill. A few relatives and near personal friends...assembled at their home, for...congratulation and social enjoyment."
