On account of Mrs. Weir being the twin sister of Mrs. John C. Entriken, of Malvern, it was impossible to have the surprise on her birthday on Tuesday, as they always spend this day together, invariably at the home of the latter. The evening was spent most pleasantly in playing games, after which all were served with light refreshments. At a late hour the guests departed, after showering many sincere congratulations upon Mrs. Weir. Among those present were; Mr. and Mrs. Baker Weir, Rev. and Mrs. A.W. Quimby, Mr. and Mrs. H. Williams, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Chattin, Mr. and Mrs. John Chattin, jr., Rev. Escol S. Sellers. Mrs. Elizabeth Burns, Mrs. Wm. Lapp Mrs. D.L. LeFevre, Msr. S.L. Potter, J. Wm. Potter, Paoli; Mrs. John Rohrer, the Misses Mary Quimby, Elizabeth and Grace Sharp, Sara and Lillian Burns, Hattie Dewees, Eleanor F. Potter, of Paoli; Mary E. Entriken, Erma Matlack, Anna T. Bishop, of Malvern, Jennie E. Weir and others. This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/pafiles/ File size: 1.7 Kb
