Mr. LIGHTCAP was born and reared in Pottstown. He is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel LIGHTCAP who were well known people in Pottstown a generation ago. He learned the trade of machinist here and became an expert workman on fine machinery. Twenty years ago he emigrated with his wife to Kansas, but after remaining there a short time he went to Alabama. About this time he became interested in dental surgery and studied with such success that he was soon master of the science. He opened a dental office in his adopted southern city, Talladega, and has won a fine and lucrative practice. His brother, Samuel, also a Pottstown boy, is located in the same profession in Mobile, Alabama. Mr. LIGHTCAP sees marked changes and improvements in the town of his boyhood. His two sisters reside in this county, Mrs. Flora, wife of Harry HIGH, and Mrs. Ella McGRETH, of Norristown. Mr. and Mrs. LIGHTCAP came here from their southern home to attend the funeral of Mrs. LIGHTCAP's mother, Mrs. Charlotte K. SAVAGE, and when this sad duty is performed they will turn their faces southward again. Additional Comments: Dr. Dutton S.
