Masters, one of the leading citizens of Sadsburyville, and for many years connected with the Chester County Mutual Fire Insurance Company, which has its main offices in Coatesville, has severed his connection with that company and expects to locate at other business in Philadelphia shortly. Connected with the resignation of Mr. Masters from the insurance company came a story of financial as well as domestic difficulties, which are dispelled, by a talk over the telephone this morning with Mr. Masters himself, who laughingly denied such reports and stated that “there is simply nothing whatever in such a report and I stand ready to prove such assertions false.” Mr. Masters is well remembered here, having at a recent public meeting of the Christian Science Church, with which body he is allied, introduced at the meeting held here the speaker of the evening, Paul S. Seeley. Mr. Masters married a daughter of former Clerk of Courts Elias Bair, of Sadsburyville, and has quite an acquaintance in this section by many who are glad to know the rumors afloat are untrue.
