TAYLOR, Pharmacist’s Mate, Third Class, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ambrose Taylor, 21 Price street, has finished his training as a physical therapy technician at the U.S. Naval Hospital, Philadelphia, and is now stationed at the U.S. Naval Air Station, Quonset Point, R.I. Joseph SICOLI, 119 West Lafayette street, who is stationed at Fort Bragg, N.C., is spending a few days at home on furlough. Private Francis B. MASSEY, of the Engineers’ Amphibian Command, has been transferred from Camp Edwards, Mass., to Carrabelle, Fla. He is the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. A.L. Massey, of Kennett Square, and he enlisted in the U.S. Army July 1, 1942. Word has been received by relatives here that Barclay L. RUBINCAM, who is in the Engineers’ Corps, and received his promotion in September as Private First Class, and has been stationed at Fort Ord, Calif., for the past month, has been transferred somewhere unknown, but he writes he is in the best of health and hopes to be remembered to his many friends. HEMPHILL, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Hemphill, of Chatwood, who is serving in the armed forces, celebrated his birthday anniversary on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Vernon PRYOR, of West Miner street, and Mr. and Mrs. Samuel VANDEGRIFT, of Kennett Square, have returned home from a visit to Camp Croft, S.C., and Fort Benning, Ga. Mr. and Mrs. Pryor spent some time with their sons, Harold Pryor, who is attending Officers’ Candidate School, Fort Benning and John Pryor, who is stationed at Camp Croft. Mr. and Mrs. Vandegrift called on their nephew, Private Edward SMITH, who is a member of the Para Troopers, and witnessed a demonstration put on by the members of his troop. The guests at the camps found the boys well and enjoying camp life, and entertained them at dinner at a nearby town the evening they were there.From Private to Private First Class is the promotion just received by Allen L. WILSON, son of Mr. and Mrs. David Wilson, Sr., of Garfield avenue, West Chester, R.D. 2. PFC Wilson is attached to Battery B, 414th Coast Artillery, Separate Battalion, Camp Stewart, Georgia, and is enjoying Army life.
