He is now permanently located at Hampton Roads, Virginia, where in company with about 450 other veterans of the Rebellion he is quietly resting as a guest of Uncle Sam. Mr. Reeder was formerly a painter and one of the last pieces of work he did in West Chester was to paint the Chester County prison some years ago, but he has become somewhat crippled with rheumatism and is now unable to do much in the way of actual labor.
