All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/pafiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Wanda casella james_casella@verizon.net March 8, 2005, 1:04 pm CCHS Surname File Stock and Farming Utensils To be sold at Public Sale, on third day the 5t oif March, at the dwelling House of the subscriber, in Pikeland township one mile west of the Yellow Springs, the following property, ....19 head of Northern feed cattle, in first rate order-1 pare of well broke WORKING OXEN, 4 milch cow, 1 yearling Colt of an excellent Stock 3 working Horses, 2 of which are BREEDINF MARES and on of them an excellent, Family horse,safe for a woman to ride or drive- alot of Marino and Backwell Ewes and lambs, 8 pigs, a large quanity to of hay and rye battins, Corn , Rye, Oats and Buckwheat by the bushels, also grain in the ground, 250 bushels of lime,1 barduche nearly new, with doubie and single harness, a Dearbourne for one or two wheel'd waggon, 1 Broad do. ox cart, 1 harvest rake and roller, besides a number of articles, such as cart and waggon gears, plows, harrows, & c., not necessary to mention in a general sale. The above utensils are substanial and good, having all been bought new within the last five years.- Also HOUSEHOLD AND KITCHEN FURITURE such as table , chairs sideboard,looking glasses, bedstead, case of drawers, Bureau, pots,kettles and irons, shovels and tongs, large and small spinning wheels, dresser with glass doors, and a number of other articles and not inserted.
