In to-day’s issue of the News, William Tregay a member of the Chester County 
Bar, announces his candidacy for the Legislature on the Republican ticket.  Mr. 
Tregay was born in Shamokin in 1876.  He began life working in the coal mines.  
He learned the butcher trade and worked his way through college,  He was 
admitted to the Supreme Court Bar in North Carolina.  He is a staunch Republican 
and an active No-License worker.  Since locating in Coatesville he has mad an 
enviable record for himself.
