Amos (1), aged 92 years, was held on Saturday from Oxford. Thomas Amos(2) years ago, came to the late John Miller Dickey from the South(3) as a student, and this created the interest for founding Lincoln Univrersity. After years of study the young colored man went to Africa(4) as a missionary. For fifty years the deceased lived in a house back of the late Dr. Rendall's residence. One son survives, Thomas H.
