John C. Anderson
John C. Anderson formerly of West Chester passed away at his late residence, 
162 Simpson Road, Ardmore, August 11th.  He was the son of the late Mary Anna 
and James Anderson.  He was born in Oxford.  He attended the public schools of 
West Chester.  He had maintained a successful barber business in West Chester 
and Ardmore for many years.

He was the husband of the late Emily B. Anderson.  The deceased is survived by 
one sister, Mrs. John Reid, West Chester; several nieces and nephews, other 
relatives and a host of friends.

Anderson- John C., of 162 Simpson Road, Ardmore, Pa.  Services will be held at 
the Zion Baptist Church, Ardmore, Pa., August 15, 1941, at 1 o’clock D.S.T.  
Interment will be at Chestnut Grove Annex Cemetery, West Chester, Pa.  Viewing 
at his late residence Thursday evening, August 14, 1941, 7 to 9 p.m.
