Daniel H. Beideman

Says a Pottstown special of October 21: Two months following the death of his 
wife, Daniel H. Beideman, for ten years a resident of Pottstown, passed away 
yesterday afternoon, after suffering with a complication of diseases, aged 80 
years, two months, and sixteen days.

Mr. Beideman was born in Philadelphia, August 6th, 1833, and when about 20 
years of age moved to Reading. Here he learned the upholstering business.

Mr. Beideman was married 55 years ago to Miss Anna Louise Willauer, a native 
of Chester County. They celebrated their golden anniversary at their home in 
Pottstown. On his removal to Pottstown, he became affiliated with the First 
M.E. congregation, of which he was a trustee for several years.

Deceased is survived by his daughter, Mrs. Bickel, wife of Rev. Lewis J. 
Bickel, a member of the family of the local High School. He is survived by the 
following brothers and sisters: William, Chillichote, Ohio; Henry, of 
Philadelphia, and Mrs. Kate Amole, of Glen Moore.
