Laura Frances Benner

Mrs. Laura Frances Benner, wife of Milo S. Benner and 
youngest daughter of the late Hibbert and Rebecca 
Chalfonte (sic), of Atglen, died at her home, 519 
Chestnut Street, early last evening in her 63rd year.  
Death was due to a heart condition from which she had 
been suffering for the past two years. Mrs. Benner was 
born and raised …(portion missing)….. She was well 
known both in Atglen and Coatesville.  Besides her 
husband, she is survived by four daughters and one 
son, Reba, Mabel, Grace, Laura, and Lloyd, all at home.  
Also surviving is a brother, Jesse K. Chalfonte, of 
Miami, Fla.  The funeral will take place on Thursday 
afternoon at 2 o’clock.  Interment will be in Fairview 
Cemetery.
