Mary A. Berstler of East Brandywine Twp

Mary A. Berstler, 85, of East Brandywine died Wednesday, October 23, 1991, in 
the Hickory House Nursing Home after a lengthy illness.  She was the wife of 
the late Herbert H. Berstler.  Born in Austria-Hungary, she was a daughter of 
the late Jacob and Frances Schmidt Mikl and had lived in the Downingtown area 
most of her life.

She is survived by three sons, Oscar H. Miller of New Holland, Michael J. 
Miller, of Neodasha, KS., and William C. Miller of Glenmoore; a daughter, Mary 
A. Fleck of Downingtown; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two 
brothers, Charles Mikl of Pomeroy, and Jacob Mikl of Phoenixville; and a 
sister, Frances McCowan of Thorndale.

The funeral will be at noon Saturday, October 26, 1991 in the Ralston & 
Bredickas Funeral Home, 107 W. Lancaster ave., Downingtown.  Interment in 
Hopewell United Methodist Cemetery, East Brandywine.  Friends may call at the 
funeral home Saturday from 11 a.m. to noon.
