All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/pafiles.htm ************************************************ Pottstown Daily News Pottstown, Pennsylvania Thursday, October 6, 1932 SAMUEL BINGAMAN Word was received yesterday of the death in Springfield, New Jersey, of Samuel Bingaman, aged 70, a native of Chester County. The remains will be forwarded to Coventryville and burial will take place in Coventryville M. E. Cemetery on Saturday at noon. Deceased, who retired some years ago, was a son of Levi and Mary, nee Mosteller, Bingaman. He spent all of his early life in the Coventries where he was educated. Later he continued his studies at West Chester, and became a schoolteacher. He left this vicinity about 35 years ago and went to Seattle, Washington. Later he was an instructor in a business college at Poughkeepsie, New York, after which he went to New York City and entered the commission business, from which he retired and moved to Springfield. He is survived by his widow, who was formerly Catherine Wilson, of Philadelphia. Three sons and two daughters, and one brother Howard, of Seattle, also remain.
