Death was caused by a heart ailment. Born in Spring city son of Charles Briner and the late Sadie Mosteller Briner Gillespie, he had been employed as a punch press operator at the Penco Co, Oaks. He was a member of the Kimberton Fish and Game Association, the Pennsylvania Antique Gun Collectors Association of America, Ancient Arms and Armor Arts and Sciences Association (life fellowship), silver anniversary member of the Royersford Friendship fire Co, life member of the spring city Liberty fire Co and the Iron Workers Local 502. He was of the Lutheran faith. Surviving are his widow, Freda K and an aunt, Mrs. Clara Taylor, Darby. Funeral arrangements are not complete.
