Mrs. Alfonso Bucci
Mrs. Mary Donofrio Bucci, 62, of 232 Penn st., Downingtown, wife 
of Alfonso Bucci, died in the Memorial Hospital, West Chester, 
Sunday evening.  She had been in failing health for the past 
three years.

Born at Bashano, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Pasquale 
and Lena Donofrio.  She had lived in Downingtown for the past 56 
years.

Mrs. Bucci was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Downingtown.  
Survivors include her husband and the following children: Anna, 
wife of Jesse Knull, of Harrisburg; Mrs. Lena Miles, of West Chester; 
Elizabeth, wife of Earl Sylvester, of West Chester; Laurine, wife of 
Joseph Doto and Rose, wife of Nicholas Madrigale, both of Downingtown; 
Mary, Teresa and Rita, all at home; 11 grandchildren; two brothers, 
Dominic Donofrio, of Coatesville and Michael Donofrio, Downingtown; 
one sister, Mrs. Frank Vattilana, of West Chester.

BUCCI- Of 232 Penn St., Downingtown, on Sunday, July 4, 1965, Mary 
Donofrio Bucci, wife of Alfonso Bucci, in the 63rd year of her age.  
Funeral private from the Edward L. Towson Funeral Home, 43 W. Lancaster 
Ave., Downingtown, Pa., on Thursday July 8, at 9:15 A.M. High Mass in 
St. Joseph’s Catholic Church at 10 A.M.  Interment in St. Joseph’s 
Catholic Cemetery.  At the request of the family there will be no 
viewing.

Note: a son, Thomas P. Bucci, is killed in a car accident in Harve de 
Grace, Maryland around April 25, 1949, buried at St. Cecelia’s in 
Coatesville
