Mr. Cannon had been living in West Chester about eighteen years, having come here from Oakborne, where he had been farming for the late James C. Smith. He was an industrious man and a good farmer. He belonged to St. Agnes’ Catholic Church. His wife died some years ago. Mr. Cannon leaves five children, John, an engineer at the works of the Edison Electrical Illuminating Company; William, who is a farmer at a convent near Cornwells; David, Devon; Mrs. Joseph McNamee and Mrs. Hugh McGrogan at whose home he died. Daily Local News, December 27, 1907 CANNON- at his late residence, 131 Magnolia Street, West Chester, on December 26th, 1907, David Cannon, aged 77 years. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral on Monday, December 30th, 1907. Meet at the house at 9 o’clock. High Mass at St. Agnes’ R.C. Church at 10 o’clock.
