Joshua C. MacDonald
After several month’s illness from cancer of the stomach, Joshua C. MacDonald, 
aged 63 years, died at his home, on East Chestnut Street, on Wednesday.  In 
February last he underwent an operation at a Philadelphia Hospital, but the 
disease had made such progress that efforts of the surgeons to remove it were 
in vain, and he continued to grow worse until death relieved him of his 
sufferings.  He was a member of several fraternal organizations.  He is 
survived by a widow and four grown-up children.
