He was in his ninety-fifth year. The funeral will be held on Saturday afternoon at one o’clock from St. John’s A.M.E. Church at Wayne. Interment will be made in Chestnut Grove Annex, West Chester. West Chester, Pa Daily Local News, February 9, 1927 Thomas Coursey, known to every man, woman and child, in Rock Run, and to very many of the older people in this city, died yesterday at his home, in Wayne. He was 95 years old, and until a year ago, could do a good day’s work with any man. He was an employe (sic) of the Greenwood woolen mills for over half century, when that textile plant was one of the leading industries of this section.
