He was employed as a recorder for Phoenix Iron and Steel Co. in blooming mill. Mr. Craner was a member of St. Mary’s Church, the Loyal Order of Moose, and Friendship Fire Co. He is survived by the following children: Joseph J., of Levittown; Patrick, at home; John, at home; Leo, of Phoenixville; Mary Rose, wife of Arwyn Rees, of Kimberton; Catherine, wife of Walter Hylewski, of Conshohocken; Mrs. Leverne Bower, of Spring City; Jane, at home; Jeane, wife of Matthias Peto, Royersford, and Loretta at home. Seven grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be held from his late residence on Tuesday, Aug. 17, at 9 a.m. Solemn requiem mas will follow in St. Mary’s Church at 10.
