E. Church, died on Monday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Howard Baker, in Philadelphia, of ailments due to his advanced age. He was aged 77 years and up to within a short time of his last illness he had enjoyed good health. Mr. Crosby was well known to many Pottstown people, particularly to the communicants of Christ Church, where he was faithful in the performance of his duties until old age incapacitated him. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Howard Baker of Philadelphia, and Mrs. William Lachman, of Spring City. His remains will be brought to Pottstown from Philadelphia, on the 11:30 train on the Reading Railway tomorrow. The interment will be made in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Rev. Frederic C. Jewell rector of Christ Church, will have charge of the services. Church, took place yesterday on arrival of the 11:31 P. & R. train. The remains were conveyed to Mt. Zion Cemetery, where the interment was made. Rev. F. C. Jewell, rector of Christ Protestant Episcopal Church, officiated. Funeral Director Fillman had charge.
