Currey, in the 31st year of his age. Friends and relatives of the family are respectfully invited to attend the funeral without further notice from the Bethel A.M.E. Church, East Miner Street, on Friday, April 25th, at 2 o’clock. Interment at Chestnut Grove. Daily Local News April 23, 1902 William Curry. Last evening, aged 34 years, died on East Miner Street, of pneumonia. He was well known about West Chester. Some time ago he was in the fish business. Daily Local News April 25, 1902 This afternoon the funeral of William Curry took place from his late residence on East Miner Street, services being conducted in the Bethel A.M.E. Church. The members of the Star Social organization attended the funeral and sermons were preached by Rev. Mr. Mills and Rev. Mr. King. The pallbearers were William Halliday, William Washington, George Ganges, Jos. Melton, Richard Thomas and James Johnson. Interment took place at Chestnut Grove.
