Date of Death: 22 Aug 2003
Place of Birth: Philadelphia
Parents: the late Romanus L. and Dora V. (Mahoney) Dampman.
Education: Warwick High School.
Occupation: machinist for the Dana Corp, in Pottstown for more than 40 years.
Military: Army as a mechanic for the 48th Evacuation Hospital.  
          He served in the CBI Theater.
Memberships: Brandywine Dart Association; the VFW Post No. 845 of Downingtown; 
             the US Auto Workers Local 644; the Chester County Historical Society; 
             the Tri-County Historical Society; and the Beaver Creek Rod and Gun Club.
Survived By: wife, one daughter and two grandchildren.
Preceeded By: two brothers, Rayman and Edwin Dampman.
Funeral: Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford.  
Interment: Nantmeal United Methodist Church Cemetery.
