Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend the funeral from his late residence, 25 North Darlington Street, on Third-day, eleventh-month 30th. Meet at the house at 2 o’clock. Aaron Davis Arrangements have been made for the funeral of Aaron Davis, who died Saturday morning at 7:30 o’clock at his residence on West Gay Street. The deceased had been ill for more than three weeks, his attack dating from an injury he received while attempting to stop a runaway on the third of November. On that occasion the wheel of the wagon passed over his foot and although he received the best medical attention he continued to grow worse. The deceased was a native of Chester County, and had been a farmer prior to his engaging in the four and feed business in West Chester. He leaves three children: Belle, wife of Frank Crowe; Abbie J., wife of John Hannams, and James W. Davis, of Ohio. Aaron Davis was in his 70th year and was highly regarded by a large circle of friends and acquaintances. Notice of the funeral appears in another column.
