Coatesville Record, July 6,1943

"Mrs. Charles Davis

  Mrs.Anna Ada Davis, wife of Charles H.Davis, died yesterday 
at her home in West Caln Township in her sixty-third year. She 
had been in failing health for some time. Death was  due to a 
complication of ills.

Mrs. Davis was a daughter of the late John S. and Rebecca McNelly 
Miller and was born in Lancaster county. She was a member of Pequea 
Baptist church. Surviving her besides her husband, are a son, John 
M. Davis,of Coatesville and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. 
Elizabeth Marshall,Coatesville; Mrs. Elwood Zell, South Coatesville; 
Harry A. Miller, Sparrows Point; William R. Miller, Coatesville; J. 
Willis Miller,Altoona and Mrs. Carrie Woodward,Compass, and two 
grandchildren.

The funeral will take place from Gensemer Funeral home,Coatesville, 
Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be in Fairview 
cemetery. Friends have been invited to call at the funeral home on 
Wednesday evening."
