Coatesville Record, April 15, 1963

" Charles H.Davis, 86, of 18 Parkway, South Coatesville, husband of 
the late Anna Miller Davis, died Sunday morning after an illness of 
a month and a half.

  Born in Limeville, Lancaster County, a son of the late Louis and 
Ida Davis, he lived in this vicinity all of his life and was a member 
of the Olivet Methodist Church.

   He was a carpenter by trade and retired about 30 years ago.

   He is survived by one son, John M.Davis, Coatesville RD2, and 3 
grandchildren.

   Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 o'clock from the S.
Paul Roberts Funeral home, 1030 E.Lincoln Highway, Coatesville with 
interment in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 
Tuesday evening after 7 o'clock."
